Mammoet Japan K. K. established to support offshore energy and infrastructure

Mammoet has established Mammoet Japan K. K. (Kabushiki Kaisha), a locally incorporated operating company, to support Japan’s growing demand for heavy lifting and transport in offshore wind, nuclear power, and infrastructure sectors.

The new entity aims to provide specialized engineering solutions, including super heavy lift ring cranes, high-capacity jacking systems, and specialized transport. While operating locally, the company will utilize Mammoet’s global equipment fleet and engineering expertise to meet specific project requirements.

Led by Representative Director Yusuke Kakinuma, Mammoet Japan K. K. will focus on expanding early engineering support and project management capabilities. The company builds on decades of experience in Japan, including work on the Showa Yokkaichi Oil Refinery and the Akita-Noshiro Offshore Wind farm.
