Nintendo Switch 2 slated for several game releases in October 2026

Nintendo Switch 2 will see a wave of new titles launch in October 2026. The fishing‑action RPG 『ぼくと釣り日記』, developed by Toybox and announced by Imagineer, is scheduled for release on October 8 for both Switch and Switch 2, priced at ¥6,578 and featuring over 100 fish species and a story about lifting a world‑wide curse.

SEGA confirmed that Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will arrive on Switch 2 on October 29, including a “Infinity Castle” character pass that adds seven new fighters for a total of 54 playable characters and upgraded graphics running at 60 fps.

The monster‑raising game Mamon King, originally on Switch, will also receive a Switch 2 version on October 8, available both digitally and as a physical Game‑Key Card, though saved data will not transfer between platforms.
