Man arrested after invading Banco Santander branch in São José

A man was arrested in the early hours of Monday in the Kobrasol neighborhood of São José after attempting to invade a Banco Santander branch. The suspect was caught by the Municipal Guard after being spotted on surveillance cameras scaling five-meter-high protective fences to reach the air conditioning units.

Upon arrival, officers found the individual hiding behind an air conditioning unit. The Municipal Guard had to break a padlock to access the courtyard and used moderate force to contain the suspect, who resisted arrest. The man was taken to a police station for legal proceedings.
