Mexico to auction luxury motorcycles seized from Ryan Wedding
The Institute to Return Stolen Goods to the People (INDEP) will auction 62 high-end motorcycles in Mexico City on November 11 and 12. The collection was seized in December 2025 during operations targeting Ryan James Wedding, a former Canadian Olympic athlete accused of leading a major drug trafficking network operating across Colombia, Mexico, the United States, and Canada.
The collection, valued by the FBI at approximately 40 million dollars, includes MotoGP factory prototypes, classic 500cc Grand Prix motorcycles, and Superbike models from various manufacturers such as Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki, MV Agusta, Suzuki, and Yamaha. Starting prices for the motorcycles range from 21,500 to over 2.5 million pesos.
This motorcycle auction is part of a larger sale of 620 lots, which also includes aircraft, boats, jewelry, electric vehicles, and armored cars.
