Man arrested for impersonating Grupo Lince officer at Areguá school
Cristian David Riveros Cáceres, a 22-year-old man, was arrested after impersonating an officer from the Grupo Lince elite police unit at the Escuela Fe y Alegría in Areguá, Paraguay.
Riveros Cáceres entered the school wearing a police-style uniform and attempted to conduct a seminar on sexuality for ninth-grade students without formal authorization. During discussions with school administration, he reportedly requested 1 million Guaraníes to perform the workshop. The school director, Juana Paola Spínola de Molinas, became suspicious and alerted the local police.
Upon arrival, officers from the 66th Central Precinct noted inconsistencies in the suspect's uniform, specifically discrepancies between his rank insignia and nameplate. Verification through the National Police database confirmed he was not a member of the force and holds prior criminal records for the illegal production of health certificates. The suspect has been placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry.
