Man arrested in Pará for violating protective order against mother

A man, identified as Gelcimar Nascimento Freitas Júnior, was arrested in Marabá, Pará, after violating a judicial protective order against his mother. The incident occurred in the Nova Marabá region.

Police were called to the residence following reports of domestic violence. Officers confirmed that the man had entered the home despite an active urgent protective measure. The mother, who is currently pregnant, was the victim of the violation. During the intervention, police noted signs of intoxication among those involved and used handcuffs to ensure safety. The case was processed at the Specialized Police Station for Women's Assistance (Deam) as a violation of the Maria da Penha Law.
