Man arrested in Trairão following bus interception

Sávio Martins de Abreu, 51, was arrested in Trairão, Pará, during a police operation targeting a bus traveling toward Altamira. Acting on intelligence regarding an outstanding warrant, the Military Police and Federal Highway Police intercepted the vehicle near a highway police station.

Authorities confirmed that Abreu had an active preventive arrest warrant issued by the Single Court of São João do Araguaia for homicide and concealment of a corpse. He was taken to the Trairão Civil Police Station for legal proceedings.
