Man assaulted in Đắk Lắk after requesting group lower karaoke volume

A man was hospitalized after being chased and assaulted by a group of people in Buôn Hồ, Đắk Lắk, following a dispute over loud karaoke singing.

On the night of September 2, Nguyễn Hoàng Vương and a companion approached the Gia Long 001 durian warehouse to request that a group of approximately 10 people reduce the volume of their karaoke session, which was disturbing the residential area. A confrontation ensued, during which Huỳnh Trần Nhật Trung allegedly struck Vương in the face.

After a subsequent altercation with the warehouse owner, Vương attempted to flee toward Highway 14. Security footage shows several individuals pursuing him, eventually surrounding and attacking him near a repair shop. The assault involved repeated strikes to the head and body, with attackers using objects and kicking him even after he had fallen.

Police have identified several individuals involved, including Huỳnh Trần Nhật Trung, Nguyễn Sanh Phát, Nguyễn Đức Hòa, and Nguyễn Minh Hoàng. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
