Maná becomes first Spanish-speaking artist in Apple Music ‘Rediscovered’ series

Mexican rock band Maná has become the first Spanish-speaking artist to participate in Apple Music’s ‘Rediscovered’ series. The project features prominent industry names reinterpreting their most iconic tracks in a live setting.

Recorded at the Apple Music Studios in Los Angeles, the band performed a new version of their 1992 hit ‘Oye mi amor’ from the album ‘¿Dónde jugarán los niños?’. The performance features Fher Olvera on vocals, Álex González on drums, Sergio Vallín on guitar, and Juan Calleros on bass. The rendition utilizes spatial audio technology to provide an immersive sonic experience.

This release coincides with the band’s ‘Vivir Sin Aire’ tour across the United States and Latin America. Maná has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and holds four Grammy Awards and nine Latin Grammy Awards.
