NSW Police investigate multiple sexual offence cases

Police in New South Wales have launched investigations into multiple sexual offence incidents. In one major case, Christopher Ridings, a 39-year-old prison inmate, faces over 200 charges. Authorities allege he produced and owned a massive collection of 2.5 million files containing the sexual and physical abuse of three women over a seven-year period. The discovery followed a search of a home in Tumbi Umbi in December 2025.

Separately, police are appealing for information regarding a series of sexual assaults on walking trails near Narrabeen Lagoon. At least five women have reported being sexually touched or harassed by individuals on e-bikes over the past week. Descriptions of the suspects vary, including different ages and clothing, but the incidents have prompted a specialist investigation.
