Kayne Roberts, 20, of Cwrt Y Castell in Builth Wells, was convicted of driving a mechanically propelled vehicle without due care and attention after leading police on a high‑speed pursuit in Powys. The chase covered about five miles on the B4520 Upper Chapel road near Brecon, during which Roberts was recorded travelling at speeds exceeding 90 mph, far above the 20 mph village speed limit.

Roberts pleaded guilty, was fined £230, ordered to pay £130 in court costs and received six penalty points on his licence.
