Man dies after electrocution in Mexico, another fatal incident in Honduras

In San Juan del Río, Querétaro, Mexico, a 65‑year‑old man fell about four metres after accidentally contacting live electric cables while working on his rooftop. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

In Nueva Arcadia, Copán, Honduras, a 74‑year‑old man was electrocuted while trying to free an animal trapped in energized wires on a residential road. He died immediately from the shock. Authorities in both locations are investigating the accidents as accidental electrocutions and have warned the public about the dangers of working near high‑voltage lines.
