Man dies after motorcycle collision in Madrid

An 80-year-old man died on Wednesday morning after being struck by a motorcycle in the Latina district of Madrid. The incident occurred around 11:30 AM on Maqueda Street, between Empalme and Campamento.

Emergency responders from SAMUR-Protección Civil arrived at the scene and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) maneuvers for 40 minutes. Despite these efforts, the man suffered a severe traumatic brain injury and cardiorespiratory arrest, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Madrid Municipal Police Traffic Judicial Unit has attended the site to conduct initial investigations into the accident.
