Man dies from electric shock in Piedra Linda

A man identified as Dariel de la Cruz Cruz died after receiving a powerful electric shock in the Piedra Linda sector of Villa Hermosa, La Romana. The incident occurred while he was allegedly manipulating a wire from the second level of a commercial premises located on Street 4.

The electrical discharge caused damage to the local wiring, resulting in a temporary power outage for part of the community. Authorities, including the National Police, the Central Investigation Directorate (Dicrim), the Villa Hermosa Fire Department, and emergency services, attended the scene to conduct the necessary procedures. Following the investigation, the body was released to the family for burial.
