Man dies from electrocution in Eco 2000 neighborhood

Juan Antonio C. C., a 40-year-old man, died from electrocution on Friday afternoon while performing electrical work at his home in the Eco 2000 neighborhood.

According to reports from the Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM), the accident occurred when the man stepped into a puddle of water while touching a ladder and a cable. His wife reported hearing a scream before finding him lying on the ground in the backyard.

Firefighters from Machine 16 and rescue unit U12 arrived at the residence, located at the intersection of Tortuga Norte and Oso Polar streets, where they confirmed his death. Forensic Medical Service personnel attended the scene to conduct necessary procedures.
