Man disappears from Valdivia hospital after medical transfer

The family of Robert Marcelo Henríques Burgos is searching for him after he disappeared from the Hospital Base de Valdivia in Chile. Henríques Burgos was transferred from the Hospital de La Unión to Valdivia on Monday morning to undergo medical examinations for stomach pain and alcohol withdrawal symptoms.

A relative last saw him around 13:00 on Monday while he was on a stretcher receiving intravenous medication. Although the family was initially told by the Hospital de La Unión that he would remain hospitalized in Valdivia overnight due to ambulance availability, they later discovered he had been missing since approximately 14:00 on Monday.

The family has filed a missing person report with the Carabineros de La Unión and is requesting a review of the hospital's security cameras to determine his whereabouts.
