Man drowns in Nairobi sewage trench

A 37-year-old man, identified as Isaac Kiplagat, drowned after falling into a sewage trench near Equity Bank on Haile Selassie Avenue in Nairobi. The incident was reported to the Nairobi Railways Police Station, and officers from the Scenes of Crime team processed the location. The body was moved to the Nairobi Funeral Home pending an autopsy.

In separate incidents, police in Bungoma County are investigating the discovery of an unidentified man's body in River Nzoia near Siumbua Village. Additionally, authorities in Migori County have launched an investigation after the body of an unidentified middle-aged man was found floating in River Kuja in the Kituka area.
