Man found safe after 3-month disappearance following lottery scam

A man identified as Mr. Zhao has been found safe after disappearing for three months following an online lottery scam. Zhao traveled to Beijing after receiving a fraudulent message claiming he had won over 90 million yuan (approximately 350 billion VND).

After arriving in Beijing to claim the prize, Zhao went missing. Beijing police investigations revealed that he had fallen victim to the scam. Following a search that spanned over 1,000 km, authorities located him in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, where he had been working as a sheep herder.

During his time in Inner Mongolia, Zhao, who lacked herding experience, became lost and suffered from exhaustion and hunger. He was eventually rescued by local villagers and has since been reunited with his family.
