Man from Pará missing in São Paulo after car sale negotiation

José Luís, a 25-year-old systems analyst originally from Pará, has been missing in São Paulo since October 8. His disappearance occurred following a meeting to negotiate the sale of his vehicle, which had been advertised online.

The meeting took place in the Perus neighborhood of São Paulo with an individual who reportedly identified himself as a lawyer and automotive sector investor. However, no payment was made for the vehicle, and the buyer's identity remains unknown to the victim's family.

The São Paulo Civil Police are investigating the case and are currently reviewing surveillance footage that captured José Luís during the encounter. The young man had been living in São Paulo for approximately one year after moving for employment opportunities.
