Man Group assets hit record as Vanguard ETFs announce cash payouts
Man Group, the world’s largest listed hedge‑fund manager, reported a 16‑year high in assets under management, reaching US$253.6 billion in the first half of 2026. The rise was driven by US$19.8 billion in performance gains and net inflows of US$7.1 billion, primarily into its long‑only strategies. Shares rose up to 9 % in early London trading. Chief executive Robyn Grew said clients are consolidating with a few strategic partners to manage complex risk amid macro‑economic uncertainty.
Vanguard Investments Canada announced the final July 2026 cash distributions for a suite of its Canadian‑listed ETFs, payable to unitholders of record on 4 August and distributed on 11 August. Distribution amounts range from $0.04 to $0.10 per unit across bond and corporate‑bond focused funds, with monthly payment frequency.
