Man injured in group assault in Tremp

A man was injured after being attacked by a group of people in the early hours of Saturday on Doctor Pearson Rambla in Tremp. The victim was found lying on the ground with multiple contusions, rib pain, and a broken nose.

Mossos d'Esquadra responded to the incident around 1:00 a.m. following reports of a public brawl. While witnesses suggested a knife may have been displayed during the confrontation, police stated there is no evidence of puncture or laceration wounds. The victim was treated by medical services on-site and subsequently evacuated to Hospital del Pallars for further evaluation.

Authorities have opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the assault and to identify the suspects, who had already fled the scene before police arrival.
