Man Killed After Violating Restraining Order in Barcelona's Barceloneta

A man died early on Tuesday after being stabbed in the Barceloneta district of Barcelona. Police received a call at 03:25 a.m. reporting a fight on the beachfront promenade. Officers found the victim with a stab wound and detained him for breaching an existing restraining order against a woman who was present.

The suspect was taken to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The investigation is being handled by the Criminal Investigation Division, which is examining whether others were involved. Emergency medical units also responded to the scene.

Authorities have not identified the attacker, and the case remains under investigation.
