Man killed by tiger at Yorkshire Wildlife Park

A man was killed by a Siberian tiger at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in South Yorkshire, England, on Saturday afternoon, October 10. According to police reports, the man reportedly jumped into the predator's enclosure from an observation platform.

Witnesses stated the tiger grabbed the man by the neck. Although emergency responders attempted to assist, the man died at the scene. Zoo staff reportedly fired warning shots, prompting the tiger to retreat to its indoor enclosure. The tiger remained uninjured, and authorities stated there is no ongoing danger to the public. The park remained closed throughout the weekend, and police have issued an appeal to internet users to refrain from sharing videos of the attack.

In a separate incident in Magdagachi, Russia, a woman was fined 15,000 rubles after using AI to create a realistic image of a bear on a local street. The image caused widespread panic and triggered emergency responses from police and hunters before the woman confessed it was a hoax.
