Man killed in Córdoba while attempting to recover stolen bicycle

A 30-year-old construction worker, Lucas Tissera, was killed in Córdoba, Argentina, while attempting to recover a bicycle that had been stolen from his niece.

The incident occurred on August 5 in the Cooperativa Los Paraísos neighborhood. Tissera was reportedly carrying the bicycle to be repaired when an individual intercepted and stole it. When Tissera demanded the return of the item, the assailant used a large knife to strike him in the back of the neck.

Despite being transported to a local hospital, Tissera succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have detained a suspect following the review of security footage and witness accounts. The family has clarified that the event was a robbery-related homicide rather than a fight, as initially suspected.
