Man killed in La Matanza following construction material dispute

A 29-year-old man, identified as Juan Ramón Leguiza, was shot and killed in front of his home in Libertad, La Matanza. The incident occurred on Medina Street following a dispute over the alleged theft of construction materials from a nearby site.

According to investigators, three individuals arrived at the residence to confront Leguiza. During the altercation, Jorge Patricio Alejo, aged 27, allegedly shot Leguiza in the head. While witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots, the victim sustained a single entry and exit wound. Leguiza was transported to Hospital Favaloro but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

A national and international arrest warrant has been issued for Alejo, who fled the scene and remains at large. The investigation is being led by Prosecutor Nicolás Filippini of the UFI N° 8 of Morón.
