Man on electric scooter intercepted on 25 de Abril Bridge

A man was filmed riding an electric scooter in the wrong direction on the 25 de Abril Bridge during the early hours of the morning. The incident, captured by a driver in a nearby vehicle, showed the individual traveling in the Lisbon-Almada direction.

Lusoponte, the concessionaire for the bridge, confirmed that the rider was detected by video surveillance at 3:36 AM. The company immediately notified the Public Security Police (PSP) and deployed operational resources. The PSP arrived shortly after, took control of the situation, and transported the individual off the bridge. Lusoponte also removed the scooter from the bridge.
