Man prosecuted in Tijuana for child abuse and pornography
A man identified as Ángel “N” has been formally linked to a criminal process in Tijuana, Baja California, following an investigation by the Fiscalía General de la República (FGR). He faces charges including pederasty, aggravated sexual abuse, aggravated child pornography, and the possession of ammunition reserved for exclusive use by the armed forces.
The investigation began in September 2026 after an anonymous email report alleged that the suspect recorded sexual acts involving a victim and shared the material with others. During a court-authorized search of a property in Tijuana, authorities seized several items, including three laptops, six digital cameras, two tablets, multiple USB and micro SD memory cards, and five rounds of military-grade ammunition.
A judge has ordered mandatory pretrial detention for the suspect, who will be held at the “La Mesa” Reinsertion Center. A three-month period has been established to complete the complementary investigation.
