Man Arrested in Argeș County for Large‑Scale Drug Trafficking

On 18 June, police from the Stălpeni Rural Police Section in Argeș County executed a court‑issued execution order against a 26‑year‑old man from Dărmănești. He had been sentenced by the Argeș Tribunal to three years and six months in prison for repeated large‑scale drug trafficking. After identification, the suspect was taken into custody, escorted to a National Penitentiary Administration facility and placed in the prison system to serve his sentence.

The operation was part of the local police’s ongoing effort to enforce criminal judgments and combat high‑risk drug offences in the region.
