Man trapped in Melbu grocery store uses Facebook for rescue

Kim-Adrian Rasmussen was accidentally locked inside an Extra grocery store in Melbu, Norway, after arriving just minutes before closing time. While attempting to pay for items, the lights were turned off and the doors were locked, leaving him alone in the dark.

After failing to reach staff by phone, Rasmussen posted a selfie to a local Facebook group, ‘Vi i Melbu’, to request assistance. The post gained significant traction, receiving thousands of likes and comments. An employee eventually saw the post and arrived approximately thirty minutes later to let him out and process his payment. Rasmussen reported that the situation ended on a lighthearted note, with both him and the staff laughing about the incident.
