MAN Truck & Bus expands TGE customization and Hydrodrive fleet use

MAN Truck & Bus is expanding its TGE customization options with the introduction of the Lion X and the Individual Black Package. The Lion X edition is designed for a rugged appearance, featuring an off-road look with black accents, wheel arch extensions, and protective elements for the front and rear. The Individual Black Package offers glossy black exterior elements such as mirror caps and radiator grilles. Additionally, a new Performance Kit for the heavy-duty engine will increase power from 163 to 190 hp to assist with heavy transport and construction tasks.

In separate fleet developments, L’Ortye Transport has added three MAN TGX 18.480 4x2 tractors equipped with Hydrodrive technology to its fleet. The Hydrodrive system utilizes hydraulic front-wheel hub motors to provide extra traction on unpaved or hilly terrain while maintaining the efficiency and comfort of a standard 4x2 vehicle on paved roads. These new trucks feature 480 hp diesel engines and GM sleeper cabs.
