MAN Truck invests 110 million euros in Polish facility
Truck manufacturer MAN is investing 110 million euros into its plant in Niepołomicice, near Krakow, Poland. This investment is part of a larger 1.2 billion euro investment plan announced in July.
The project focuses on chassis assembly using the TRATON Modular System (TMS). The Krakow Technology Park has granted the company support through the Polish Investment Zone program, which could allow MAN to benefit from corporate income tax exemptions of up to 33 million euros, provided specific requirements are met.
Future phases of the broader investment plan include launching cabin production, establishing a paint shop, and expanding infrastructure for cabin finishing and assembly. The goal is to transform the site into a fully integrated truck production facility. By 2030, efforts will concentrate on preparing the plant for the production of a new generation of trucks based on the TMS.
