Mana Oyama transfers from Manchester City to HB Køge

Mana Oyama, a 21-year-old midfielder, has completed a permanent transfer from Manchester City WFC to the Danish club HB Køge.

Oyama, a former NTV Tokyo Verdy Beleza youth player and Waseda University student, joined Manchester City in early 2025. Following a loan spell at Rosengård in Sweden and a recent period sidelined by a knee injury, she moves to the Danish top flight to seek more playing time.

Oyama expressed that she was intuitively drawn to the club's playing style and aims to compete for league titles and play in the Champions League. She will reunite with fellow former Verdy Beleza player Yukina Sakabe at HB Køge.
