Managua house fire destroys residence in José Dolores Estrada neighborhood

A fire destroyed a residence in the José Dolores Estrada neighborhood of Managua, Nicaragua, resulting in total material losses for the occupant, Roberto Carlos Cabrera Noguera.

Local residents reported that the fire may have been triggered when Cabrera Noguera was burning cables to extract copper for recycling. The property reportedly contained a large accumulation of collected materials.

Firefighters and municipal crews from the Alcaldía de Managua responded to the scene, successfully containing the flames and preventing the fire from spreading to neighboring homes. During the operation, rescuers managed to save a dog trapped inside the building. The National Police noted that previous fire emergencies have occurred at this location and announced they will implement preventive measures to ensure the safety of the surrounding community.
