Managua rehabilitates park and baseball field in Benedicto Valverde

The Managua Mayor's Office has completed the comprehensive rehabilitation of the park and baseball field in the Benedicto Valverde neighborhood, located in District IV of the capital. The project covered an area of approximately 7,258 square meters.

Improvements to the facilities include the installation of artificial grass, new lighting systems, perimeter fencing, and renovated playground equipment such as swings and slides. The sports field was also upgraded with new benches, dugouts, bleachers, and a backstop to prevent foul balls from leaving the field.

The renovation is expected to directly benefit 800 residents and indirectly support an additional 1,200 people. Additionally, the high quality of the facilities will allow high-performance teams, such as the Caribbean Coast team, to use the space for training.
