Managua to host II National Men's Fastpitch Softball Championship

Managua is set to host the II National Men's Fastpitch Softball Championship 2026. Organized by the Federación Nicaragüense de Béisbol/Sóftbol Asociada (FENIBA), the event will run from September 10 to 13.

The tournament will feature departmental associations, autonomous regions from the Caribbean Coast, the Zelaya Central Special Zone, and the Triángulo Minero. Teams will compete under the official rules of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC). The competition structure will involve three to four groups depending on the final number of participating teams.
