Manaus advances modernization of São José viaduct

The Manaus City Hall, through the Municipal Infrastructure Secretariat (Seminf), is advancing modernization works on the Engenheiro Luiz Augusto Veiga Soares road complex, commonly known as the São José viaduct. The project includes structural maintenance and urban improvements intended to increase safety, functionality, and traffic flow in the São José Operário neighborhood.

Work teams are performing various tasks simultaneously, including cleaning, painting concrete structures, applying graffiti, road signaling, maintaining expansion joints, installing LED lighting, and landscaping. Additionally, crews are working on repairing public walkways to improve conditions for daily pedestrians.
