Manaus announces public service exams, job openings, and e-waste collection points

Manaus is implementing several municipal initiatives regarding employment and urban management. The Manaus Previdência (Manausprev) has opened registration for a new public service exam, offering 17 immediate vacancies plus a reserve list. Positions include social security analysts with salaries up to R$ 9,175.25 and social security technicians with salaries of R$ 6,116.82. Registration is conducted through the Fundação Carlos Chagas (FCC) website until September 29, with exams scheduled for December 6.

Additionally, Sine Manaus is offering hundreds of job vacancies across various sectors, including logistics and human resources, for candidates seeking employment in the region.

In terms of environmental management, the Municipal Secretariat of Urban Cleaning (Semulsp) has begun installing 62 voluntary delivery points (PEVs) across all zones of Manaus. This initiative, in partnership with Circular Brain, aims to facilitate the correct disposal of electronic waste, such as computers, televisions, and mobile phones, to prevent improper discarding in common waste streams.
