Zaya, a detection dog from the Manaus Municipal Guard’s Operational Actions Group with Dogs (Gaoc), located approximately 30 kilograms of suspected narcotics during a routine inspection in Manaus, Brazil.
The operation took place on Wednesday near the Ceasa region in the southern zone of the city. It was an integrated effort involving the Municipal Guard and the Federal Highway Police (PRF). The inspection targeted an Amatur company bus traveling to Porto Velho, Rondônia.
During the canine inspection of the vehicle's luggage compartment, Zaya signaled specific bags, prompting officers to intensify their search and uncover the illicit material. The seized items have been handed over to the competent authorities for official analysis and further investigation.
