Manaus hosts #SouManaus Passo a Paço 2026 festival

The #SouManaus Passo a Paço 2026 festival, organized by the Manaus City Hall, has commenced with a focus on family entertainment and enhanced public security. The first night featured the ‘Passinho’ program, a dedicated space for children offering activities such as jumping castles, painting, and games, alongside a performance by national artists Kysha e Mine.

To manage the high expected attendance, which surpassed 500,000 people in the previous year, authorities have deployed over 850 security personnel. The integrated operation includes the Manaus Municipal Guard, the Amazonas Military Police, the Military Fire Department, and private security services. Officers are stationed near the Alfândega and Malcher stages and are conducting preventive patrols throughout the event area to ensure public order during the festival.
