Manaus hosts upcoming musical performances by Leoni and Amazonas Filarmônica

Manaus will host two distinct musical events in late August. Singer and songwriter Leoni is scheduled to perform an intimate show at Teatro Manauara on Friday, August 28. The repertoire will include hits from his solo career as well as his time with the bands Kid Abelha and Heróis da Resistência. The performance, which features opening act Arlley Souza, is designed to foster close connection with the audience.

Additionally, the Amazonas Filarmônica will present a free concert titled ‘5 Aberturas’ at Teatro ICBEU Manaus on Sunday, August 23. Conducted by maestro Otávio Simões, the program focuses on 19th-century orchestral overtures. The repertoire includes works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Felix Mendelssohn, Johannes Brahms, Edvard Grieg, and Emil von Reznicek.
