Manaus officials strengthen citizen feedback role in urban planning

The Manaus Municipal Institute of Urban Planning (Implurb) and the Municipal Ombudsman's Office held an institutional meeting to strengthen the role of citizen feedback in public management. The initiative aims to use complaints, suggestions, and praise from the population to improve municipal services and urban planning.

Nonato Oliveira, the municipal ombudsman, highlighted the efficiency of Implurb’s sectorial ombudsman in responding to citizen demands within established deadlines. Implurb President Antonio Peixoto noted that the administration under Mayor Renato Junior intends to remain open to public demands to refine city services.
