Manaus urban licensing division analyzes over 5,200 processes in 2026

The Municipal Institute of Urban Planning (Implurb) in Manaus has analyzed 5,290 urban licensing processes between January and August 2026. In August alone, the Project Approval Division (Diap) evaluated 729 processes.

Since January 2021, the division has processed a total of 40,077 applications. These evaluations involve reviewing documentation, technical projects, and compliance with urban legislation to ensure planned city growth. Antonio Peixoto, president of Implurb, stated that this work is essential for providing licensing security and guiding applicants within legal frameworks.
