Manavgat Municipality Launches Public Vision Process

The Manavgat Municipality has begun a three‑stage participatory initiative called the “Manavgat Ortak Akıl ve Eylem Süreci” to shape the town’s future. Residents and visitors are invited to submit ideas and project proposals through QR codes placed around the district or via the municipality’s website, covering eight thematic areas such as tourism, agriculture, urban development, environment, economy, education, culture and social life. Submissions are accepted in Turkish, English, German and Russian.

The process will move from initial group discussions to volunteer‑led consultation meetings and finally a broad public integration phase. Collected input will be analysed and compiled into a Vision Document that will guide Manavgat’s development. Deputy Mayor Mehmet Çiçek stressed that the effort aims to give every citizen and visitor a voice in shaping the city’s destiny.
