Manchester charities highlight support for families of children with complex medical needs
Charities in the Manchester area are highlighting the diverse support services provided to families of children with life-limiting or complex medical conditions.
Francis House Children’s Hospice provides a range of services including specialist healthcare, emotional wellbeing, respite care, and bereavement support. Operating 365 days a year, the charity offers assistance through its Didsbury facility and via home and hospital visits to support both the children and their wider families.
Meanwhile, Reuben’s Retreat has launched its ‘Complete the Retreat’ outdoor advertising campaign across Manchester, including Piccadilly Gardens and Spinningfields. In partnership with Ocean Outdoor and McCANN Manchester, the campaign aims to raise funds to complete a dedicated retreat in the High Peak. The project includes the restoration of a historic building and the creation of fully accessible holiday suites to provide inclusive breaks for families facing significant challenges.
