Manchester City completes record £116m signing of Elliott Anderson
Manchester City have reached an agreement with Nottingham Forest for the transfer of 23‑year‑old England midfielder Elliott Anderson. The fee is reported to be around £116 million (approximately €135 million), setting a new club record for City and the highest transfer fee ever paid for a British player.
Anderson, an England international who is currently with the national squad for the upcoming World Cup, is set to undergo a medical in the United States. The deal surpasses the previous British record of £125 million for Alexander Isak and adds another landmark to the Premier League's growing transfer market.
The transfer was confirmed by multiple sources, including Fabrizio Romano, and is expected to be finalized once the medical is completed.
