Manchester City midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi breaks transfer records

Ayyoub Bouaddi has become the most expensive teenager in Premier League history following his transfer from Lille to Manchester City in a deal worth up to £85.6 million. The 19-year-old holding midfielder, who is of Moroccan heritage and was born in France, is currently under contract with Manchester City until 2031.

Bouaddi has recently gained attention for his performances in both the Premier League and the Champions League, including an assist against PSG. He has also been named on Tuttosport’s Golden Boy shortlist. During a recent club interview, Bouaddi revealed that Andrés Iniesta was his primary childhood inspiration, noting that he grew up watching skill compilations of the Spanish midfielder on YouTube.
