Manchester City pursues €100m transfer for Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi
Manchester City are negotiating with Lille for 18‑year‑old Moroccan midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi. Lille club president Olivier Létang has set a price of at least €100 million, but indicated the club could lower the fee if the English side agrees to loan Bouaddi back to Lille for a season or arranges a pre‑agreement for a later permanent move.
City sporting director Hugo Viana says the asking price has not deterred the club. The transfer interest grew after Bouaddi’s performances at the World Cup, and the deal would be one of Lille’s biggest sales. The negotiations are ongoing as the summer window draws to a close.
