Manchester City Near £100m Deal for Moroccan Midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi
Manchester City are reported to be closing in on a deal to sign 18‑year‑old Moroccan international Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille. The French club has set a price tag of about €100 million (£100 million), and City have reached an agreement in principle on a contract that could run until 2031.
Bouaddi, who impressed at the recent World Cup, has drawn interest from several top European clubs, including Manchester United, Arsenal and Paris Saint‑Germain. City view him as a long‑term midfield asset and are prepared to meet Lille’s valuation despite the gap between the asking price and the player's current market estimate of around €50 million.
