Manchester City agrees €100m deal for Ayoub Bouaddi

Manchester City has reached an agreement with Lille OSC to sign 18-year-old Moroccan midfielder Ayoub Bouaddi. The transfer is valued at a package of up to €100 million, including €95 million in fixed fees and €5 million in performance-related bonuses. This deal would set a record for the most expensive player sold by a Ligue 1 club to a foreign team and make Bouaddi the most expensive teenager in Premier League history.

Bouaddi, who gained international recognition during the 2026 World Cup with Morocco, is expected to sign a five-year contract with an option for an additional year. He is viewed as a key successor in City’s midfield rebuild following the departures of players like Rodri and Bernardo Silva. Medical examinations and final contract signings are expected to take place shortly.

In a separate transfer move, Manchester City has also reached an agreement with Brazilian club Palmeiras for the signing of winger Allan Elias. The deal for the Brazilian attacker is reportedly worth €40 million, aimed at strengthening City’s offensive options for the upcoming season.
