Manchester City submits £106m bid for Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson

Manchester City have made a verbal offer of about £106 million for Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson, with performance‑related add‑ons that could raise the total to over £120 million. The 23‑year‑old England international has three years remaining on his contract and played all 38 Premier League matches last season, contributing four goals and four assists. City view Anderson as a key target to replace departing midfielders such as Bernardo Silva.

Nottingham Forest have rejected an earlier approach and are reportedly holding out for a guaranteed fee of around £140 million. While Manchester United have expressed interest, they are not prepared to match the financial level of City’s proposal.
